Connor Brown Signs One Year Deal With Oilers

Connor Brown Signs One-Year Deal with Oilers

Subtle Comeback

Meaningless Seventh Goal

Connor Brown's goal drought with the Edmonton Oilers has finally come to an end. The seventh goal in a 7-2 win is normally meaningless, but that wasn't the case on Wednesday.

In a highly anticipated return, Connor Brown is set to rejoin the Edmonton Oilers lineup for Saturday's game against the Vancouver Canucks.

Brown has been out of the lineup since suffering a lower-body injury in a game against the Calgary Flames on March 18. He has been skating with the team for the past few days and is expected to be ready to play on Saturday.

The Oilers signed Brown to a one-year deal with a $775,000 AAV plus up to $322,500 in bonuses on October 9, 2022. He has three goals and four assists in 17 games with the Oilers this season.
