McDavid Leads Oilers to Victory

The Dallas Stars have advanced to the Western Conference Final after defeating the Edmonton Oilers 4-2 in Game 7.

Connor McDavid got the Oilers on the board first with a goal just over five minutes into the game. The Stars tied it up less than two minutes later on a goal by Jamie Benn. McDavid gave the Oilers the lead again with a power-play goal in the second period, but the Stars came back to tie it up once more on a goal by Tyler Seguin.

The Stars took the lead for good in the third period on a goal by Jason Robertson. Roope Hintz added an empty-net goal to seal the victory.

Anton Khudobin made 31 saves for the Stars, while Mike Smith made 29 saves for the Oilers.

Stars Face Avalanche in Western Conference Final

The Stars will now face the Colorado Avalanche in the Western Conference Final. The Avalanche are the Presidents Trophy winners and are considered the favorites to win the Stanley Cup.

The Stars will be looking to upset the Avalanche and advance to the Stanley Cup Final for the first time since 2000.
